SCHARF is a Danish brand in equestrian sports. The first project is riding helmets, which are made in cooperation with the renowned company Aegis Helmets. The idea is to unite a super functional concept with a good and very exclusive design. Aegis Helmets are specialists in designing and manufacturing helmets, and in advanced helmet technology. In 1992 Aegis invented In-Mold technology, and therefore have the greatest in-house knowledge of all helmet factories, including casting and plastic/foam injection.
The helmets have the following approvals and are, of course, approved in the EU and the United States:
ASTM1163-4a (SEI).
VG1 01.040 2014-12 (CE).
This helmet is not BSI Kitemarked.
The helmets have YKK buckles, 3M Scotchlite reflective material and a removable lining which can be washed at 30 , washable at 30°C.
Genuine leather brim and cheek/chin straps and a Coolmax lining that is moisture-wicking.
